The Rules
The book states what is permanent. This page states what is current. Anything with a number in it lives here, because numbers change and printed pages don't.
Current as of 23 August 202601 How you are scored
Two currencies
XP measures progress — did you show up and do the work? HP measures excellence — did you go deeper than required? You can finish a book on XP alone. Gold Seal needs both.
02 Experience Points
Earning XP
Every chapter contains 3 Challenges. Each gives you a real scenario and asks what you would do.
- Productive Choice — +10 XP. Right on the first try. Full marks.
- Learning Path — +5 XP. Wrong first, then shown why, then you choose again. Half marks. The lesson stuck.
- Ordinary Life Path — 0 XP. You skipped the Challenge. A wrong answer is failure, and failure has a path back. This is what happens when you stop choosing at all.
- 30XP per chapter
- 90XP per book
You report your own XP with /report_xp. Accepted values are 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 — nothing else. Overflow past the chapter cap is rejected outright, never quietly trimmed.
03 Honor Points
Earning HP
Anyone can finish a book. Few master it. There are three ways to earn HP in every chapter.
- +5 · The Clean Run. Full XP in the chapter, no failures, no more than one Insight Boost.
- +5 · The Reflection Log. 70 words minimum, posted with the 🚀 prefix in #🚀・reflection-log. Written in English.
- +10 · The Field Application. Apply the chapter to real life within 10 days. Posted with the 🚩 prefix as a reply to your own Checkpoint, with text plus a photo or short video.
The Clean Run has a 60-minute clock. When you run /report_xp, the Gatekeeper asks how many Insight Boosts you used in that chapter. Answer within 60 minutes. Miss it and the Clean Run for that chapter is forfeited permanently — your XP is safe, but those 5 HP are gone. Gold needs 50 of a possible 60 HP, so this adds up faster than it looks.
- 20HP per chapter
- 60HP per book
The Team reviews Reflection Logs and Field Applications and credits the HP. Miss the 10-day window and the HP is gone — no exceptions.
04 Chapter titles
Specializations
Finish a chapter, then run /claim-specialization. The Gatekeeper asks you one question from that chapter. Answer correctly and the title is permanently yours.
| Chapter 1 | Critical Thinking | The Strategist |
|---|---|---|
| Chapter 2 | Problem Solving | The Engineer |
| Chapter 3 | Assets & Liabilities | The Guardian |
You need 15 XP in that chapter before the Gatekeeper will ask you anything. Below that, the question isn't served.
A wrong answer locks that chapter for 24 hours. The lock is per chapter, so the other two stay open.
All three Specializations are required before you qualify for any Seal. Finishing two earns you two titles and no Seal. There are no shortcuts.
05 Book completion
The three Seals
Every Seal requires all 3 Specializations, plus the thresholds below.
| Tier | XP | HP | Means |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 70+ | — | You finished. |
| Silver | 80+ | 30+ | You fought for it. |
| Gold | 90 | 50+ | You transformed. |
Three months between Seals. Once you hold a Seal for a book, a higher one for that same book can only be granted 3 months later. Re-read whenever you like — the wait is on the upgrade, not on the reading. It exists so a Seal means a year of change, not a hard weekend.
The Seal is a role in The Network whether you mint it or not. Minting turns it into permanent on-chain proof through your Digital Vault.
06 Across all four books
The endgame
- The Architect — a Seal in all 4 books, at any tier. You walked the entire path.
- The Vanguard — Gold Seals in all 4 books.

08 Everything else with a number in it
Timings and limits
- 10 days to file a Field Application, from your Checkpoint timestamp. Reminders land 3 days and 1 day before it closes.
- 72 hours — the Team's target for reviewing a submission.
- 5 minutes between Reflection Log posts.
- 10 commands per 5 minutes. Posting logs and Checkpoints does not count against this.
These numbers can change. This page is the current version — it is why the book sends you here instead of printing them.
